Our Mission

It is the mission of the Harrison County Commission on Aging to offer support, services, programs and activities that will encourage the involvement of an individual eighteen years of age with DDID and senior citizens 60 years of age in this community, support their independence ,promote their health and enhance their dignity and improving the quality of life.

Our Vision

Our Vision is to create a society where elders and those with DDID are healthy, happy, empowered and socially integrated with the community. Our goal is to contribute to the building of a society in which people are encouraged and enabled to age productively and with dignity. Our mission is to work towards developing and implementing activities that enhance productive aging.
